So, if you want to use this notation, you must write<\/span> <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>#include&lt;stdint.h&gt;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Here, I create 2 variables that are <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>num1 <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">and<\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b> num2<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">After that, print the first number. So, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>printf(&#8220;Enter the first number(integer):&#8221;)<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">. So, the user has to enter only an integer. &nbsp; After that, let&#8217;s use scanf to receive the number. <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>scanf(&#8220;%d&#8221;, &amp;num1);<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Then, print the second number. <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>printf(&#8220;Enter the second number(integer):\u201d)<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>scanf(\u201c%d\u201d, &amp;num2);<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">After that, you can use if-else statements to compare the numbers and take decisions. If both the numbers are equal, you have to print &#8220;numbers are equal&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">First, let&#8217;s do that. For that,<\/span> <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>if(num1 == num2)<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please note that you are comparing two numbers, so you have to use double equal to sign(<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>==<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), you should not use single equal to sign(<\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>=<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). \u2018=\u2019 is assignment operator remember. You have to compare; that&#8217;s why we have to use a relational operator \u2018<\/span><b>==\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. So, most of the time, beginners make this mistake. = is a valid expression, but logically it is incorrect.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>if(num1 == num2)<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <span style=\"color: #000000;\">then I would print <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>\u201cNumbers are equal<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\">\u201d<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Then, let&#8217;s use the <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>else<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"> block. Again I&#8217;m going to use the if statement here.<\/span> <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>if(num1&lt; num 2)<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">, then I would print num2 is bigger. So, <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>printf(&#8220;%d is bigger\\n\u201d, &amp;num2);<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Otherwise, num1 is Bigger. So, use&nbsp;<\/span> <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>else<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><b>printf(&#8220;%d is bigger\\n\u201d, &amp;num1)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">This is called the nesting of if-else statements. In the main else block, you can write anything you want inside the curly braces or body of the else block. So, you can use one more if-else statement or anything you can write there. I just used one more if-else statement. This looks good. So, that completes our exercise. If that expression is false, then control comes into the body of the else block. And after that, again <span style=\"color: #666699;\">if(num1&lt;num2)<\/span> will be evaluated. If this expression is true, then <span style=\"color: #666699;\">\u201cnum2 is bigger\u201d<\/span> is printed. If this expression is false, then control comes out of the <span style=\"color: #666699;\">else<\/span> block, and <span style=\"color: #666699;\">\u201cnum1 is bigger\u201d<\/span> is printed. Very simple to understand.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.8em; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Let\u2019s see the Output. Here the first number is 0 and the second number -8. It prints 0 is a Bigger, as shown in Figure 1.
