Let&#8217;s follow the steps below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"padding-left: 30px; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; line-height: 30px;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Step 1: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy uImage to board and then update the boot partition of the SD card.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"padding-left: 30px; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; line-height: 30px;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Step 2: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy newly installed <\/span><b>5.10.90<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> folder to board&#8217;s <\/span><b>\/lib\/modules\/ <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">folder.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"padding-left: 30px; border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; line-height: 30px;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Step 3: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reset the board(you should see BBB boots with newly updated kernel image).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"border-width: 0px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; line-height: 30px;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Let\u2019s proceed step by step.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 30px; font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Step 1: Update the Boot Image<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol class=\"\" style=\"font-family: 'Roboto Slab'; font-weight: 400; font-size: 17px; line-height: 30px;\" data-font-family=\"Roboto Slab\" data-font-weight=\"400\" data-font-style=\"\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Connect your SD card to your host system.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Navigate to the Linux source tree directory on your host system and access the <code>arch\/arm\/boot<\/code> directory.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In this directory, you will find the new <code>uImage<\/code> (as shown in Figure 1). Here, you have to copy the <\/span><b>5.10.90<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> folder. Copy -a, select this folder, and copy this to media, your username, ROOTFS lib\/modules\/ You may have to use sudo here. Let\u2019s power up the board, and it is booting.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You got the login. Let&#8217;s login to debian, temp pwd.
