Exploring GPIO PORT and PINs of STM32F4xx discovery board

STM32F407VG supports up to 9 GPIO ports which are GPIOA to GPIOI. Each port will have its own set of configuration registers. Each GPIO port is a group of 16 GPIO pins. So, generally, MCU supports 144 GPIO pins.

But on the development board manufacturer has brought out five ports which are GPIOA to GPIOE. So, 80pins are available — these 80 pins used for a wide range of applications.
